Gold Coast – Burleigh

Monday 4 September – Gold Coast South Family Fun Day and Community Expo

3pm to 5.30pm – Memorial Park Burleigh
As part of Child Protection Week, memorial park in Burleigh will come alive with a range of individual and group activities to welcome families across all cultures. Ill be there with physical activities to highlight development of physical milestones in a fun, interactive way. Other activities include a reading corner from our local library and Nature Play QLD.

Gold Coast – Oxenford

Wednesday 6 September – North Gold Coast Family Fun Day and Community Expo

9.30am to 12 noon – Oxenford Coomera Community Youth Centre
As part of Child Protection Week, there will be a range of individual and group activities to welcome families across all cultures to promote the development of resilience including a petting zoo to promote empathy with other living creatures, physical activities to highlight development of physical milestones, a reading corner from our local library and Nature Play QLD to promote active engagement with the natural environment.

Gold Coast – Labrador

Thursday 7 September – Gold Coast Central Family Fun Day and Community Expo

9.30am to 12 noon – Arthur Downes Park
As part of Child Protection Week, there will be a range of individual and group activities to welcome families across all cultures to promote the development of resilience including physical activities to highlight development of physical milestones in a fun, interactive way. Other activities include a reading corner from our local library, performances from multicultural organisations to promote inclusion and diversity and also Nature Play QLD to promote active engagement with the natural environment. There will also be a range of diverse services for all the guests to access information and contacts that will promote the availability of local services to support children and families.

Sunday 10 September 2017 – Bushcare Family Day Out

Proudly supported by Redland City Council
10am to 2pm – Redlands IndigiScapes Centre, 17 Runnymede Road Capalaba
IndigiScapes will come alive with hands-on, practical activities and sharing of information on all things ‘Bushcare’. There will be a variety of activities to give every member of the family an opportunity to get active in and appreciate nature. There will be a variety of environmental information stalls, conservation groups, live music and even a few native animals.
I will have a nature based Pop-Up Playground as well as running 2 short bushwalks.

Monday 18 September 2017 – Imagination Children’s Festival Launch

10am to 2pm – Mayes Cottage, 20 Mawarra St, Kingston
City of Logan’s ImagiNation children’s festival is a 16 day action-packed program running from the 16th September till 1st October 2017. It brings together a monster-sized range of free and low cost activities in every corner of the city. The activities guarantee all-round good fun for the 0 to 12 age group. Im at the official launch of the ImagiNation festival at Mayes Cottage, before the fun continues with your choice of activities across the exciting two-week program.

Thursday 28 September 2017 – Kids Go Wild! School Holiday Program

2 x Adventures (10am-12pm and 1pm-3pm) at Queens Park Environmental Education Centre
Presented by EnviroEd, an initiative from Ipswich Enviroplan. EnviroEd consist of free environmental education programs for schools, community groups and families within Ipswich.
I love Queens Park and the Environmental Education Centre in Ipswich. There are so many nooks and crannies to the park, offering opportunities for unique natural connections, and a fast-paced series of activities and games to engage your little ones. We run one adventure from 10am to 12pm and another from 1pm to 3pm.
Bookings will open approximately 2 weeks before the event.
